The Quail responsive foam mattress is lovingly made to order, so your bed won’t be ready to ship immediately. Processing your order will take 24-48 hours. It will take 3-6 business days to produce your mattress; once it has finished, it will be boxed up and shipped to your doorstep.
Shipping is free to all our Nest Bedding customers in the continental United States. Once shipped, you should receive your mattress at your doorstep in 3-8 business days.

Energex™ Temperature Responsive Foam is infused with an assortment of minerals and materials, which, when blended, helps pull heat away from the body naturally. While some companies have a layer of glue between two layers of foam, the Quail offers an Air Flow Layer of foam to provide more cooling and conform to side sleepers.

Which feel is recommended for my sleeping position?
When choosing between the Quail Firm and Quail Medium, it’s important to consider your sleeping position.
The Quail Firm is ideal for back and stomach sleepers. It offers the necessary support to maintain proper spinal alignment and prevents your midsection from sinking too deeply, which can lead to discomfort.

How does it ship, and how long does it take to expand?
The Quail, once constructed, is compressed, folded, and rolled into a large cardboard box. Once received, your Quail mattress will reach its intended height within 12 to 24 hours.
How do I perform an exchange?
Nest Bedding is the only mattress company that allows a no-return exchange and a 365 Night Sleep Trial. If you’d like to initiate an exchange, please contact our team at customerservice@nestbedding.com to begin the exchange process.
Bed Frames & Foundation Compatibility
The Quail mattress works best with the HomeBase foundation by Nest Bedding, starting at $449. The HomeBase is an affordable, all-wood, easily assembled foundation with no tools required.
Also compatible with the Adjustable Base, Woodland Platform, and Metal Folding Frame.
*Using non-approved foundations, such as bowed slats or box springs, will void return and warranty privileges, as it can cause additional sinkage and improper support. Read more on mattress returns in our terms of service.
