In 2018, we instituted the industry's first comfort layer exchange program and added a zipper to the top of our most popular mattresses. We did this to reduce waste and to save our customers time and money in the journey to improve their sleep.

In 2021, we've realized the true potential of our brand's unique offering and will give you the Lifetime Renewal Exchange for free. Our customers can now experience a Nest Bedding mattress for 365-nights risk-free, and with the LRE, choose to exchange to a different firmness or extend the lifespan of your mattress in the years after the sleep trial expires.

If you’ve purchased a qualifying mattress (Sparrow, Owl, Starling, or Finch), all you must do is contact Nestologist at customerservice@nestbedding.com, when you are ready to exchange your comfort layer. We’ll place an order for the new comfort layer that will ship to your doorstep. Once the layer arrives, simply unzip your mattress and place the new layer inside. Like replacing worn tires on your car, or new soles for your shoes.

Not all mattresses are made equal. While Nest Bedding mattresses are of the highest USA-made quality, the comfort layer will still break down over time. This can be due to a number of subjective variables, i.e. temperature, pressure, moisture level, and age of the mattress. Ultimately, you’ll need to replace your mattress. Good thing you bought a Nest Bedding mattress, with the Lifetime Renewal Exchange. You won’t have to replace your entire mattress because you can renew it and can reuse it. You’ve helped reduce waste.

We offer internal split firmness levels in the King and California King sizes of the Sparrow, Owl, and Finch. Each side of the internal split accounts for half of the LRE on your mattress. You can choose to redeem your LRE for each side separately.
