All mattresses will wear down over time. So, we've designed the Finch Natural Latex with a zipper to allow you to get the most out of your mattress and decrease the amount of mattress waste in our landfills.
You may exchange for another feel during your trial by unzipping your mattress and placing a new comfort layer inside. Rotate or flip your feel layer every six months to distribute wear evenly.
If decreasing waste and getting more out of your mattress isn't enough, you can also opt to purchase a comfort layer from us years down the road. This allows you to double or even triple the lifespan of your mattress.

Finch Natural Latex
Construction plays a crucial role in how a mattress dissipates heat, as all mattresses will absorb energy from your body while you sleep. We considered this when designing the Finch mattress, as latex is known to be a breathable material that does not retain heat, making it an excellent replacement for all-foam constructions. Organic cotton fabric and eco-flex quilting foam within this mattress help to release built-up heat. Together with a proper foundation and naturally cooling sheets, these features will guarantee an excellent night's sleep.
The Finch mattress is available in Firm, Medium, and Luxury Soft (with the addition of our Soft Latex Topper).
The Finch Firm is ideal for back and stomach sleepers, offering responsive support that keeps the spine aligned without sinking, thanks to the natural buoyancy of latex.
The Finch Medium works well for side and back sleepers, as the latex contours gently to pressure points like the hips and shoulders while maintaining proper posture.
For those craving extra plushness, the Finch Luxury Soft feel, achieved with the Soft Latex Topper, delivers a cloud-like comfort that cradles the body while still offering the inherent support and resilience of latex.
Aside from a refreshed look, the Finch is the same Natural Hybrid Latex mattress we designed to provide your body with consistent, unmatched comfort and a sustainable lifespan.
The Finch, once constructed, is compressed, folded, and rolled into a large cardboard box. King and California King orders are shipped in 2 boxes, requiring some assembly. Once received, your Finch mattress will reach its intended height within 12 to 24 hours.
Nest Bedding is the only mattress company that allows a no-return exchange. The Finch can be unzipped to reveal a swappable firmness layer. The Finch mattress works best with the HomeBase foundation by Nest Bedding, starting at $449. The HomeBase is an affordable, all-wood, easily assembled foundation with no tools required.
