Luxury DOES come in a box!
If you search for mattresses online, there are more choices today online than ever before. One of the top paid search results you are likely to see is an ad stating that "Luxury can't be stuffed in a box", which is a tag line from the company Saatva™ mattress and Loom and Leaf™ mattress.
While that is a cute tag line, do you ever wonder why almost every single other online mattress company can and does ship in a box and these guys don't? Here is why we do and likely why they don't...
1. Saatva™ and Loom and Leaf™ are not made in one factory: Because they choose to ship via regular trucks, these beds are made in many factories all over the country. This means oversight for quality is not consistent. When you make your beds in one factory, a factory you own, like Nest Bedding does, you can ensure your beds are consistently made the same. When they are made in many different facilities, by factories that make other beds in fact for other brands as well, you have too much room for errors and inconsistencies.
2. Shipping in a box saves money: One reason Nest Bedding and most every other online company ships in a box is the immense cost savings to you. Shipping via truck is not eco friendly, and it is more expensive. We take that savings and put it into the quality of the build and materials.
3. Our beds come in a box because they can: You simply cannot compress a Saatva™ mattress because they use an inexpensive, wire-tied coil system like your grandma's old bed. That means it can't be compressed. And after telling you it is better to ship that way because they can't, of course they can't ship the Loom and Leaf™ bed compressed, that would negate their marketing that luxury can't be stuffed in a box. Our beds are so durable and well-built they can be put in a box. Buy a Nest Bedding Alexander Signature foam bed and a Loom and Leaf™ and compare them side by side. There is one clear winner.
