"We ordered the medium firmness and it wasn't firm enough. Ordered the insert and the bed is perfect now. The customer service was excellent. Very responsive and willing to work with you to make the bed just right. We worked with Zachary; he was great!"
I have people in the store all the time tell me their doctor or chiropractor told them to get the firmest bed they can find. A lot of people also site their parents or grandparents as well, echoing the same advice. Despite cowboys sleeping on the prairie and cavemen sleeping on pelts, is this firm advice the best advice?
Most major brand mattresses, such as Sealy, Serta and Simmons, have some of the lowest consumer ratings and a quick read of online reviews will show that these traditional mattresses are not rated highly. The reason is most of these big name brands use very low quality, cheap fill materials inside their mattresses. These materials begin to break down very soon after you begin sleeping on the mattress, leading to body impressions.
It used to be shopping for organic food was an arduous task, almost an exercise in futility, as most stores would give you a blank stare when you asked where they kept the organic produce. And of course, nowadays, almost every grocery store has jumped on the organic bandwagon to some extent.
Metal coils, however, were the enemy of the public, and yet many brands are still using them, for the same reasons: they are cheap. Metal coils may be the foundation of their mattress and several other mattress makers, but coils are NOT the foundation for mattresses that are built properly. Let me explain.
Organic Mattresses in Berkeley and San Francisco are some of the more expensive types of mattresses you can find, and yet when you consider how long they last and how healthy they are when compared to Tempurpedic and other name brands, they are a better value.
